DFIT satisfies AER initial conditions and helps to determine the permeability of a specific zone. This can be done pre-flow to give an indication of how a zone may perform prior to a full frac. Highly accurate surface data can be gathered and analyzed, rather than expensive and time-consuming downhole recorders. In association with FracKnowledge, SSI offers real-time DFIT analysis and helps calculate a frac half-length to help Directive 83 planning.
DFIT Testing in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and throughout Western Canada – SSI Completion Services
Properly temperature compensated surface data acquisition ensures reliable diagnostic fracture injection test results. SSI can capture both pumping data and extended fall-off pressures on a single data file. Clients are able to access DFIT in streaming format via the web. FracKnowledge DFIT analysis can be achieved in real-time, allowing for quicker decision-making. SSI can also transfer equipment to remote sites for test completion, with both 10,000 or 15,000 psi equipment capabilities.
